yeah, it's easy to see why people are skeptical of his casting. i was certainly one of those people, but having seen a good bit of his work since then, my worry level is now at 0. my biggest concern is gadot, i think she absolutely horrid in what i've seen her in, but that's obviously another topic.

I get skepticism too. It's peremptory dismissal I find a bit odd. Like, wouldn't you want to leave a little room to be happily surprised?

I'm guessing Jesse's role in The Social Network had a big influence on why he was cast. My favorite role of his was in "The Double." It really showcased his acting skills. I think he will do a great job as Luthor.

Apparently there are rumors out now that he will in fact be donning the mech suit this movie, which raises my interest a little, while also irritating me that he's going to be a villain right off the bat. Again.

The mech suit takes away the very thing that makes Lex great. His cunning brain. It turns him in to another Superpowered person.

The great thing about Lex is that he doesn't need to throw fists to destroy you.

Multiple mech suits in one movie never works. I mean, just look at Iron Man.

Do we have any pictures of Jesse immediately after he wrapped his part in BvS? I kind of wonder if he did get a little more lean and cut for the part? Not in the realm of Ben and Henry, or course, but perhaps to give his frame just a little more substance on screen?

I for one would love to see the kryptonite battlesuit on the big screen. I don't necessarily NEED to see it... but I have no doubt Snyder could make it look ****ing awesome after seeing what he did with Batman's armored suit and Zod's armor in MOS.

Speaking of which... does anyone know if Batman's armor is real or all CGI like Zod's was?
