Michael Wilkinson chooses the costumes and clothes of all the leading cast members. So if you don't like it blame him.:sly:

I know, I already mentioned that in the "All Things Thread". He did a marvelous job with Diana's dress though.

I really like this photo. It's got a classy villainous vibe to it and I just picture classical music playing in the background. Also the decor is fantastic.

I feel like how Eisenberg's Lex comes out is my biggest anticipation for the movie... which, in a film so full of fangasm inspiring content, is saying a lot!

I just so don't want him to be 'bratty', which is how he usually comes across to me.

But if he's great, I feel like I'll be much more forgiving of other things :)

Personally, I think Lex has always been a little ****. Snyder might just be going for a more obvious approach.

I've honestly never cared for Lex as a character but I'm expecting to really like this particular version of him.
He already seems more interesting. :funny:

I like the new look, it's different. Has like a Kurt Cobain-esque vibe going on.

I think so too and it would certainly fit with Jesse. I look at the picture above and I already detest him. :yay:

He looks like if Kurt Cobain was a Bond villain.

Everything in that shot, from the art to the glassware, has a look of hefty classicism being on the baroque. That is, except for Lex, who is casual and modern from head to toe.

It makes me wonder whether he is outside his own territory- perhaps on Wayne Manor- or if he has a mellow, open-collared facade that acts as a cover for the cold intellect beneath.

He's a hipster. He was into neoclassicism before it was cool.

I tend towards thinking the room is in Wayne Manor, as the worn rags in either bottom corner of the frame suggest furniture or other artifacts that have been "mothballed". That matches the description of Wayne Manor that we have.

Despite him not looking a damn thing like Lex Luthor in that shot, it definitely seems like he's got the demeanour down pat.

Them two griffins in the back coupled with the one legged horse really sets the room off.

Any respectable billionaire would make sure that his horse has all four legs and if it's missing three of those legs then he should chop the last leg off.

I suppose it is supposed to be an archeological artifact. It looks like alabaster, and the style is non-naturalistic in a way that evokes archaic Greek equestrian sculpture. Wonder Woman reference?

I hope that wig is supposed to be some kind of character flaw.

You don't say "veee." That would be incorrect.

The "v." is an abbreviation for "versus." Maybe before you make stupid and insignificant b****ing complaints, you should know what the f*** you're talking about.
Actually, since they have specifically mentioned that they are using it in the legal way, you say "and" as in "Batman and Superman: Dawn of Justice". :o

I agree.

Like vanity? I can dig a Lex with some issues about his appearance.

I don't know. That wig just looks bad to me. So, I'm thinking it's on purpose because if not, surely someone pointed it out.

Looking at the picture I get a strong feeling of a wolf in sheeps clothing. The atmosphere. The art. Even the expression and body language of Lex makes me think of a classical, sophisticated villain. Everything except his clothing and hair. I mean, put him in a suit and take off his wig and no one would question that we're looking at Lex Luthor in his full glory. But instead he's wearing casual attire and has a shaggy wig. It is very intriguing.

Maybe they are going for the Steve Jobs influence. He started out with longer hair (though not this long), and then he evolved his style over the years as Apple became bigger and bigger.
