Holy ****, pun intended hahahaha. Yeah, thats why I really never went to church and haven't been in decades. And will never go again.

That is pure brainwashing right there. Start the kids off before they are able to really think for themselves. Force the ideas into their heads without the interference of any other ideas, and you've successfully brainwashed the kid into doing whatever you want, in the name of Jesus of course.

I am not against religion at all, but it should be a personel experience of self-discovery. Its when it leaks into politics and my own way of life and freedom that I become angry. Its when it tries to tell ME what is right and wrong and what I can and can't do that gets me angry.

In my state, you cannot buy alcohol on Sunday unless you're at a restaurant, which was a recent change. You use to not be able to buy alcohol in any shape or form on Sunday. Also, they recently banned some sex toys and confiscated a bunch of them in local stores. Sex toys don't concern me, but it is a personel choice for some people. All this was because of religious interference. What's next? Banning certain movies or music? Christianity can be very dangerous, as this documentary shows.

apparently the families represented in this doc have seen the finished film and not only find it a fair and accurate portrayal of their lives, but are also considering using the movie as a pro-evangelical tool to promote the camp.
