Always loved the Jetsons. So sad at the credits, when they dedicate it to Mel Blanc and George O'Hanlon...both died during production :csad:

Ha ha - man, that brings back memories. That whole Sprocket sequence song would always get stuck in my head as a kid, and I'd run around the house chanting it over and over - I know it had to drive my parents nuts.:woot:

If they ever plan on a live action Jetsons movie I don't care who else the cast in the movie. but you gotta have Danny Devito as Mr. Spacely :woot:

They've already said he's pretty much a lock. Adam Shankman is supposed to be directing and Diane Lane is rumored as the choice for Jane.

oooh good call on diane lane as jane. if this movie was made years ago id have cast chevy chase as george :woot:

Robert Rodriguez may be taking the helm for this one. I can actually see him doing it. You know he's good at taking smaller budgets and stretching them, and if WB gave him about a 100-150 mil for this...I think it could look pretty good.

i cant wait, love the cartoon

I'd rather see him doing some "adult" stuff. (Though Sin City 2 and Machete are coming.)

Most Jetsons fans are adults. Granted, he'd have to have stuff for the kiddies and merchandising, but I'd like to see what he'd do withb it.

Well..I think Rodriquiz can do any genre..and he proved that with the Spy kid movies...so he can do kid films too.

A great actor. A great comedian. The "every man."

i'm bummed I never found this cartoon funny or the flintstones for that matter. I always thought it was interesting that flintstones and jetsons never got a year 2000 makeover like tom and jerry, TMNT, loony toons, super friends, and various others did. kind of thankfull.

I never really cared for the show, aslong as I get Sin City 2 next year I dont really care what Robert does.

Rodriguez directing Jetsons would be an improvement over Spy Kids.

Oh God. Just prepare for it to star Antonio Banderas as the dad, Salma Hayek as the mom, the stupid spy kids as the Jetson kids, and Cheech Marin as the Maid/Butler.

Oh and the special fx will of'course be done by Rodriguez's Troublemaker Digital which consits of 11 artists....

^ HELL YES!!!
I'm not a big fan of House, but I still think Hugh Laurie is pretty awesome.
I'd like to see Hayden Panettiere as Judy,

Laurie is actually not a bad idea...his role in Stuart Little convinces me. Add Diane Lane as Jane, and possibly that Pantierre chick as Judy (some precious child actor as Elroy, but he has to have chops, as Elroy was a child genius), CGI Scooby model molded into Astro, a Stan Winston Rosie, and a CG Orbity, and we're done. :o

Damn, two people beat to me Panettiere as Judy! Damn!

Eh, great minds think alike.
