the bible says Christians shouldnt get involved with politics and all that stuff. it says that we should just live our lives under the government. as a Christian i can say that Christians shouldnt get involved with government because they will be forced to make decisions that will go against there faith and make them look like hypocrits. the best candidate is the one who should get the job

As much as I want to agree...a fundi religious nut can cause more harm than an agnostic or atheist. However, people(presidents) will still find excuses to do what they want to do. We really haven't had a president push religion on people and we have checks and balances to assure that it won't happen. I just think a theist president would just have a better outlook on things in general. Think of how this country would be if Abaddon was president
