Rogen dragged 50/50 down for me. JGL can do comedy/drama with perfect balance but Rogen can't.

I don't blame Rogen in 50/50.

He wasn't supposed to be dramatic for the majority of the movie. That was the point of his character.

I do wish he was a bit more dramatic, but he performed how the character was written

Finally got to see this this year for Christmas

It was ok. Some good chuckles here and there. Wish they gave more for each character to do. JGL and Mackie weren't even that funny. And Mackie's storyline was kinda lame to me. Also I could tell that so much of the movie was improv'd. Comedies really need to stop doing that. Unless you have a really strong director like Adam McKay or Jay Roach who knows how to real in the improv
