So, was there anything in particular you did to warrant receiving this? Signing up for a mailing list? Part of Operation Slipknot?

It's incredibly unusual that you would receive an email like this.

exactly.... something tells me that those emails to gordon might be getting checked. or this could just be a wild goose chase.

Agreed. I can't see why they would e-mail only one person but, again, everything's kinda weird these days.

Anyway, I'm keeping my eye on this, but will also look forward to other people getting the same e-mail to really consider it. Unless it leads us to a new great find.

Agreed, but I think that people would tend to check their email less than they check their phone. (Particularly if the phone is of explicit importance.)

The GCN news story updated today mentions Billy Dambrosio and Jimmy Nickerson got arrested, they were 2 of 3 still at large from the Slipknot operation, this leaves only Tony Elwell left, maybe this Gordon email leads to him??
