I watched it for the first time tonight &, while I liked it for the most part, I have one nagging question:
In this heart-touching story about acceptance, trust, & coming together, where were the black people?

Unfortunately, they weren't part of the transition between the golden and silver age in the DC Universe.

I'm not even talking about heroes. Soldiers, citizens, bystanders-SOMETHING.

I kinda want to :facepalm this, but I can also see where you're coming from, but think about it this way, do you really want them to add a black person here and there to fill a quota?

Damn a quota. Plenty of us fought in many a war in reality.

Well not be a dick or seen that way but have you read the book, i mean there is an entire section about John Henry Irons in it and all they have him do is save black people from the KKK, they cut it out for time constraints. I mean you really should read the book seeing as it is the best evrsion of the story. I personally being a white person wish they would have kept it in.

THere was a VERY brief reference to John Wilson, & an even more brief one to Irons. My beef is that none were involved in the assault against the Centre.

I liked it. It was nice to see some Justice League animation that wasn't from the Timmverse or Diniverse. While I like those incarnations, this one was good too.

I did enjoy it overall, apart from my one beef.

Re: your sig, Chris, the US government don't care about anyone but their pockets. The US Constitution is a dead document. If you actually sit down and read it, you see that nothing the US Government does now is in line with the constitution.

I'm well aware.
