What do you think might be the worst job you've ever had?

Construction worker for a day. Had to clean up the entire site *almost* by myself. Not worth 8 bucks an hour.

i had to powerwash* my grandmas house, its huge!!!!

i was there 6 hours and got payed 20.

I used to lay foundation...that sucked. I thought I was going to drown in concrete one day when I was left alone to shovel it out of the pourer.

women's bicycle seat = cool job.

I had to dres up like uncle sam and wave at people. I was almost beaten by a bunch of college kids.

Pushing carts and moving appilances at Lowe's. The money was great but the job was non-stop, no matter the weather.

Kind of glad I took 30 minute breaks, whenever I felt like it.

I don't know about worst, I would say working for this small company, I ran their network with 30 workstations, managed their database and programmed for them all for $8.50/hr. Its cos i was still waiting to get my residency here in the US they milked me for all I was worth. As soon as I got my visa though I got the **** out of that place. ****ers. It's a shame I was escorted out tho I didnt have time to run my trojans and worms :D At least the programs and scripts I wrote for them had date expiration hard coded so it would stop working after 30 days :D

Working at the ***** plant,you don't want to know what I saw,it wasn't just *****. :csad:

Door-to-door salesman, the whole place was like a cult.

I got a job cleaning carpets in people's homes once. They said I'd be making $100-$200 a day. I made $4 by lunchtime and just left.

The blow. That man in the alley said he just wanted me to see if his zipper was stuck. :csad:

Hotel Maid... lived on site in some really cheap rooms, no cable, no internet, no PC... and I won't even discuss having to clean the hotel rooms / suites / cottages...

i cant really fault the job as such, rather the pay was somewhat shocking.

I work at Lowe's...I'm a paint associate. The pay's all right and the job's...fine, I suppose. I'm bored out of my mind there. Even while working only 24 hours a week for 19 months, I'm beginning to dislike it more and more...

I worked for a big city law firm for about a yr as a registration clerk. Wasn't too bad, the pay was kinda loosy, or seemed it as i had made a good $300 more a week as a part time fishmonger...

Fish monger definately was the best job ever, it was hard work, but i got to play with knives, and the people were cool. Not the best job to tell chicks you have but still....if i ever got annoyed with people i worked with, i'd throw fish guts at them....best job ever!

Worst Job Ever: flipping burgers

In 'N' Out Burger employees start out at almost $10 an hour. Store managers make a little under $100,000 a year. Buy hey, ya flip one burger, ya flipped them all right?

The Whataburger that I worked at had some of the dumbest employee’s that I’ve ever been around. Not to mention the boss was an ass.

Alright, I work with an after school program for elementary kids and there's this one girl, Jenna, who is a real *****. I don't toss that term around lightly and I couldn't imagine ever calling a six grader that, but Jenna really does deserve that tittle. She goes out of her way to make everyone around her miserable, now I have the ability to kick her out, but I've been holding off on doing that on the chance that maybe she'll turn a new leaf. So a couple of months go by and it just gets worse and worse, so I decide it's time for her to leave. The thing that really got me upset though was that one day, I tapped one of the kids on the shoulder because they weren't paying attention and Jenna starts shouting "You're a child molester!" So after that and a few other remarks, I kick her out.

Now today, I find out from my supervisor that Jenna's mom had called her and told her that Jenna felt uncomfortable in my class room because I was "staring" at her. Honestly, I make it a point to avoid her because of the problems she causes. The only time I would stare at her is if she was getting out of line, plus there's always a teacher in the room and my supervisor randomly checks up on us, so there's no way I could do anything inappropriate. This whole thing really has me pissed off though, because I feel like she's trying to push that I some kind of perverted freak and that really gets to me because I think child molesters are the most vile and horrible people on this earth, I absolutely despise them and to have this little witch try and say that I am one one pisses me off so much, especially if it winds up costing me my job.

I'm kinda unsure as to what I should do at this point, I mean, she's out of my class so I shouldn't have to worry about her anymore, but I am pretty upset about what she did and I'm worried about it being a problem. I just needed to rant, sorry.

I think there was a thread for this somewhere, but anyway, hat's insane. Did you talk to her mom about her behavior before this?
