Johnny Depp is The Night Stalker?

Sounds good but this seems like something that possibly works better as a tv show, from what i heard the 2005 show was bad, but why not try again? Either way Edgar Wright and Johny Depp is going to be an interesting, but i hope that he makes Ant-Man first

Well, the original The Night Stalker began as a made for TV movie. After the success of that, they made a sequel called The Night Stranger.

Then it became the TV series Kolchack: The Night Stalker.

edgar wright + supernatural/ sci fi investigator story= ticket bought. Depp should do well in this, especially under the direction of edgar wright, hopefully he lights a fire under depps ass unlike burton.

I would say Depp is actually the one with the fire under his ass in the Burton/Depp relationship. Burton is the one resting on his laurels.

I would say both are to blame. For either not really pointing out that they should try something really fresh and new. Sweeney Todd was that last film.

I think Depp is doing the next two PIRATE films right after LONE RANGER wraps [which is soon, if not already] so let's hope this is still a few years away and ANT MAN can be made in the mean time...
