In the MCU, the prime measure of heroic virtue is not "will kill/won't kill". Its "will save people". Simple as that.

Different rules apply to different characters. It's generally acceptable for a war hero like Iron Man and Captain America to kill. It's generally not ok for a street-level character to do the same. The Netflix series itself established the same rule.

Tony and Steve also killed only in situations where they absolutely have to. The Punisher kills willy nilly. And if he's anything like Garth Ennis' version, then he enjoys it too.

I'm sure he'll have something skull like to wear in the show. As for these shots, he probably doesn't wear it all the time, especially not in the middle of the street like these photos show.

I'd doubt it will be to do with his families death. I'd guess they'll be building towards a punisher tv series so will most probably do the death of his family in flash backs. Or even do it through the eyes of an fbi officer chasing him. Any idea how many episodes he'll appear?

Someone in another thread (apologies, I can't remember your username) mentioned working with one of the stuntmen from this. The guy was sporting a huge bruise where Bernthal accidentally kicked him in the head while filming.

Not a huge fan of his hair, but it's a minor gripe and the haircut makes sense. Man, I really hope he sports the skull early on. I'm in the crowd that is hoping he's already well into character and not an origin story where he doesn't get the outfit until the end of the show.

So stoked for this season.

Not a huge fan of the haircut but other than that Frank looks absolutely badass.
Love all the cuts and bruises.

Yep. Not a fan of his hair either. His normal haircut that he's had before looks more like Frank Castle than the style he's sporting right now. And I also hope he's going to have the skull and not go through the entire season without one just like Matt didn't have the costume last season, and then in the end when he finally gets one it looks far too stiff and a disappointment.

Hair on the left looks better.

Looks like that takes place a bit after whatever they're shooting in the scene on the right.
Cuts in the same spots but they look like they've had some time to heal.
