Jon Voight is Richard Nixon

Didn't he play in Pearl Harbor as another one of our presidents? He's playing two now?! WHOA!

I would prefer Frank Langella.

Hey Dark where is your quote from?

"And there's a Batman."

One of the set videos on Youtube of The Dark Knight has Christian Bale walking around and one guy shouts out "AND THERE'S A BATMAN!" in a Mark Hamill Joker voice.

Ahhh lol. Cool. Just wondering.

Yeh that does seem a bit off that he's already in his costume.

In the comic, doesnt he go back to his house to get his spare costume? Cos i mean...where would he get his costume from in the prison? Unless they show him go to some sort of evidence holding room or something and get it from there.

My main gripe about this movie so far is the ignoring of supporting characters.

Yeah, that's been explained in some articles. Basically during the prison riot he gets into the evidence room and recovers his costume. I'm guessing the change was made to streamline the plot a bit.

Some people would say it's a miracle that so many supporting characters are being included at all. (Just to add some perspective.) But yeah, I agree that it's kind of a shame. But such is the nature of making movies of books.

Where do you base that on? The trailer? When you're making a movie about superheroes. which has sequences on MARS and ANTARCTICA, kickass slow-motion shots, an enormous god-like blue guy and a woman in skin tight spandex you don't put a newsvendor, a couple of detectives and a psychiatrist in the trailer do you now?

yeah, I'm guessing like CaptainGenerica, probably the studio wanting a shorter length, I'll cross my fingers in hope that the director's cut includes him going home for his "face"

loved that part, where he's actually kinda sorta nice to the landlady, a little

Yeh thats a fair point. It was more just a comment concerning the small role of Rorshachs landlady as i presume she wont be in the movie as he doesnt go back for his mask.

It's just an assumption though really. As i wouldve expected Snyder or someone to perhaps hint at it. A lot of the fans other concerns have been commented on by someone (rape scene, comedian shooting vietnamese woman, manhattans penis). But yeh, he could just be being crafty and leaving which supporting characters will be in it as a suprise.

I also dont think ive seen in any cast lists whos playing the psychiatrist (if anyone). If anyone does know this then let me know.
