Watching it again because "why not?" My god, this movie is awful. The only fun thing about it is watching Jon Voight speak like a hispanic Chris Walken.

It's sad really because the effects are pretty damn good. The best snake-CGI/animatronics on film. Too bad it was wasted on a bad script etc.

What bothered me the most watching it was the snake itself, it screams, it reacts to sound, it doesn't act at all like a snake should.

And am I the only one who gets a sick pleasure from watching Owen Wilson get killed?

Its such a stupid movie. But tis fun to watch when theres nothing else to do. To me its one of those movies that I just cant look away. Im terrifed by snakes. Even fake ones like in Anaconda. Im so terrified, I cant even look at a picture of a snake, I get shivers.

Its a fun escapist B-movie. They should of had a spin-off featuring Voight's character. He was great. When he gets regurgated and winks is hilarious.

I LOVED Anaconda when it came out. It might have been a little silly, but it was a fun, popcorn movie.

It was more enjoyable.
I wanted everyone to die in the first film, no one was likeable or relatable, though the snake kills were great. But Voight and Ice Cube brought down the enjoyment factor for me even more.
Blood Orchid wasn't that much better, but it realized that wasn't a good movie and it didn't try to be.

I'd take Voight, Cube, Wilson, Lopez anyday over a cast of F-listers.... Orchid was on the level of sci-fi original material... makes for good comedy I will give you that much.
