Juggernaut's Gloves

I was looking at these pictures of Juggernaut, and i noticed he was wearing two different gloves and bands on his hands. Anybody really know the reason for the change up?

A side note...I caught in the film that it looks like there was rebar in his helmet. Where there was what looked like "wear" on parts of it. Is it supposed to be concrete or metal? If it's even been talked about that is.

The helmet has bits of re-bar in it, a left over from when Magneto was going to form the helmet around Juggernaut's head from the metal in his cell.

The scene with Doug Lennox was shot, and was meant to be the end of the movie - with Wolverine leaving to set up his solo movie - but then things were re-written and it had to go. I would think it will show up on the dvd.
