World Spider-Man Gloves

Hey guys.
A couple of days ago, I was looking on the Forum and I found a thread about Spider-Man's gloves. However, after stalking it for a few hours, I realised that it wasn't what I wanted.

I created this thread for people to discuss the creation of real, working Spidey-gloves. Not to climb walls and ceilings; but to help us cling to objects, as I feel that this would be cheaper and less time consuming.

So, if you're interested in this project, feel free to contribute anything you can.
I look forward to your ideas and comments.

I just had an idea for the gloves.
If we made small rings to fit around the tips of our fingers and then wrapped double-sided tape around the rings, we would have a simple adhesive system that would allow us to cling to relatively light objects with ease.
I know it's a pretty shocking idea at the moment; BUT, if we used that as a starting point to build on our ideas, we could easily upgrade and improve on it in the future.
