I thought Juno was ok, it was a good story as well for young people I would say also.

But I liked how it ended it was happy in the end and the opening credits where cool.

I listen to the soundtrack a few times a day at work.

This flick deserves the oscars it has (and hopefully will) win

well it won for best orig screenplay; which was freakin awesome :) ... but page, picture and director got the shaft... :(

:(

oh well. maybe next time page

She'll have about another ten chances... I don't see what people have to complain about.

Well I was hoping it could upset NCFOM. No luck.

Still a great movie and I think it hoenstly will probably be the most remembered movie of 2007 in the mainstream; which says a lot as there were many great movies this year. Oh well.

Yes it was a bit of a letdown that they didn't get all the gold but then again the oscars are a joke anyways and don't really mean as much as they used to.

I was a bit disappointed Page didn't win the Oscar. But really, to be nominated for such a great role is a great accomplishment within itself.

And she is so young, too. She might be back, and already being nominated, her chances of winning a next time are greater.

Exactly. I have no doubt that she could be back.

She'll definitely receive another nomination. She's a superb actress. Can't wait to see her next role.

No, they awarded the right movie for Best Picture this year. "Juno" was good, but it wasn't THAT good.

Yeah, I thought Juno was good but NCFOM was better.

I thought this movie was - 'ok.' I kind of thought Cody was trying too hard; in certain scenes, the script basically screams "LOOK AT ME! I'M TRENDY! LOOK! LOOK!" A good example of this is in the scene at the older guy's house, where it's just a series of 'trendy' and 'hip' name drops for about seven minutes.

WHOA! Sonic Youth?

WHOA! Iggy and the Stooges?

WHOA! Dario Argento?

WHOA! Suspiria?

It's not particularly clever. The film wasn't all bad, but I don't really think it deserved to win the Oscar it won. Plus, I could've done without that teenage dude's bare-ass legs.

NCFOM definitely deserved its win. Juno was good but I don't think it was the best of all the films nominated. I've seen Atonement and thought it was better than Juno overall. Now I just need to see There Will Be Blood and Michael Clayton.

I thought Juno and the other three nominated films were FAR SUPERIOR to NCFOM.

Funny how opinion works. :p
