Jurassic World - Part 4

You really think if something like this happened in real life back in '93, right now in 2014 some investor or something wouldn't be like, "you know, they didn't know what they were doing back then, but we have the technology and the smarts to do it better."

and in 1993 there was a massive push for environmental conservation in animal life, deforestation, and pollution control... guess where that's now got us in 2014? people ignoring global warning, the keystone pipeline, and human's likely more trash than ever. Yes there's been breakthroughs and steps that have gotten things better (LA's air is proof of that) but we still haven't learned a whole bunch

Not a good trailer, still really excited for this since it wasn't the footage that was disappointing just the way it was chopped together.

Some of the dialogue isn't great though

I think it's due to the expectations from the 'leaked' trailer, which this trailer showed almost none of, besides the Seaworld bit.

I think the music at the beginning seemed cheap and generic. But then again, it's just a teaser.

Yeah I get that, but you'd need a bunch of ocean to hold it. Something that big decided it wanted to bust out of it's walls, I don't imagine there's much they could do about it. I'm sure they got something in the movie explain how security is so much tighter this time around. Makes for a damn cool visual though, dwarfing a great white and all.

You know those aquariums where you're surrounded by glass on all sides in an enclosed space? I'd hate to be there if the mosasaur decided to bust loose.

To people who are saying we didn't need another JP films, I believe we do need another one, one that is doing something different, the park is actually open! The public are in there, we're finally getting to see Hammond's dream come to fruition.

I'm a little upset that it seems like Judy Greer is always stuck playing the 'mom' or the side character. I mean, instead of rom-coms, it's big tentpoles, haha. Even in Dawn of the PLanet of the Apes, she was just the ape wife who was sick the entire time.

She's pretty and funny, Hollywood. Give her a chance.

for those who are complaining about the same old stuff....

What would you have proffered? There's been so many terrible and panned concepts of sequels to this franchise from militarizing dino's with lasers, to the army going to war against the islands.... all which basically have gone against the concept of "life finding a way"

The jurassic park franchise has always carried certain themes... about not playing god, about life finding a way, about how animals can be both beautiful and deadly... That's why the panned concepts always failed.. they were basically being garnished as Michael Bay films...

I can't honestly think of a better way to honor the franchise and it's messages better than to go back to a fully realized theme park.

That being said... i do hope for a few things. I hope the park wasn't built on the same part of the island as the original, i'd love to see the original visitor center in ruins, sadly we wont ever get to see them visited by any of the original cast though :/

But I think the franchise is in the right direction. I don't know where they'd go next though

The biggest issue with Jurassic Park films is always going to be that you're traveling over the same ground in every film. You have to be on an islands where dinosaurs are running amuck and there's only so many times you can do that. I'm not sure where they go after this, there's already little justification for returning to the Park now, there's going to be almost no justification for any future films when the Park collapses here.

the theme of the Jurassic Park and 'World' is that man lives in arrogance and ignorance. People go 'Why would they open the park? Blah blah blah'. We'll look at the real world and how things are so cirucluar; like how it seems like we don't learn.

and in 1993 there was a massive push for environmental conservation in animal life, deforestation, and pollution control... guess where that's now got us in 2014? people ignoring global warning, the keystone pipeline, and human's likely more trash than ever. You are both spot on with your responses and explanations, I fully agree. But sadly some will choose to just ignore this to complain anyway. At least the 3 of us understand it and are on the same page haha.

Who is scoring this film? Please tell me Williams is returning!

Yeah. It's a great idea. Now I just wish it was a "real" dinosaur rampaging around and not some mutant hybrid. :(

i am watching this because of Pratt. only reason to buy the ticket.

the effects and action will be good and the story will be IMO 100% predictable.

because Spielberg is producing we will get a hard PG13 with some scary moments. thank god.

If they want I'd think they could easily find a way for people to return to the island.

Where do people come up with this ****? We don't *need* *any* movies. If you don't like something don't go see it, don't go into threads discussing it, don't think about it. Easiest thing in the world. Gotta piss in peoples Cheerios though, if you ain't having fun then by God no one else should either.

Some of you are making too big a deal over the hybrid dino. You realize there's real life hybrid animals right? Like the Liger. A hybrid dinosaur is the same thing. Same with raptors being trained in captivity, in real life tigers are trained. As are many other animals. So I don't get all the complaints about these 2 things, when they've already been done and exist in real life. Makes me shake my head how some of you think.

It's seems like you don't understand the premise, that a big ignorant corporation will do whatever it takes to win the public, even past dinosaurs. It's more satirical than reality but I can see tycoons doings this and not seeing the consequences of doing so. And..It's not like the movie is celebrating the idea of a hybrid creature; look at Pratt's stance.

Well said, but some will never listen it's a shame.

Seriously. Love her to bits and it looks like she's got all of a 5 minute bit part. :down

It's like when people mock those gyro-balls. But can't you see those at theme parks? I can.

I'll probably give this trailer a 7/10.

Yeah, I could see those at a big theme park. I've seen a lot of silly stuff at Disney that I could mock. I guess there's some barrier keeping the mosasaur from snapping up the monorail?

Don't worry, your hybrid isn't going to look like cthulhu or anything.

Ligers can occur without human interference.

They're making theme parks more and more outlandish everyday to be honest, only with machinery as opposed to genetically altered creatures.
