Jurassic World - Part 4

Who is scoring this film? Please tell me Williams is returning!

It's been known for months -- and says in the teaser -- that Michael Giacchino (Star Trek) is scoring the film. He will be using John Williams' themes.

Plus Giacchino scored one of the JP games back in the late 1990s, so this is like full circle for him.

It's seems like you don't understand the premise, that a big ignorant corporation will do whatever it takes to win the public, even past dinosaurs. It's more satirical than reality but I can see tycoons doings this and not seeing the consequences of doing so. And..It's not like the movie is celebrating the idea of a hybrid creature; look at Pratt's stance.

Not sure what you are getting at here? Part of the appeal to me was getting to see "real" dinosaurs run around even if some rather large liberties are taken with them. I'd much rather see T. Rex or Giganotosaurus than a mutant like this regardless if it makes sense in the film itself.

the premise is perfection. that a hollywood studio decided to greenlight this story is a miracle. or maybe they are to stupid to see the connection with the movie and story.

Ligers can occur without human interference.

How? Without humans, lions and tigers would never have been within several thousand miles of each other. As animals go that means the other might as well be on the moon.

There's no genetic manipulation on the humans part to create said hybrids, it's merely nature taking its course. Tiger and Lion paths also use to intersect far more than they do today...sadly. :(

A mutant like this? just forget it haha. I guess bottom line is even though it makes sense in the film and is very plausible especially considering hybrids in real life. Fact is just you don't wanna see it so that's your gripe, fair enough. Whatever haha

The premise of this movie isn't any different from the original novel or movie; but taken a few steps more. It's suppose to be a reflection of toddy's corporate world. Sometimes we forgot how absurd the real world is. There's Dubai where they're making rotating hotels and man-made islands for God's sakes.

Keep in mind, that the trailer itself wasn't super amazing. It's a decent teaser (7 of out 10) so I don't want to go out of my way to defend it. But I get what they're doing with the property.

Giacchino's composition style is very similar to John Williams. Honestly, if Williams ever stops scoring, I'd like Giacchino or David Arnold to take over his franchises (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, etc.).

new Jurassic park...looks okay. First one still holds up...the others dont.

I do sort of wish they'd use the Chaos Effects dinos as their genetically modified hybrids. Maybe for the sequel.

I like how the trailer was very Spielbergian... the original trailers for Jurassic Park didn't show much of the dinosaurs and this trailer is the same. Saves the surprise for when you go to see the film.

Haha haha!

Ha

I didn't not like the trailer. It's very okay/good. My missus said it looks like more of the same. I asked what she was expecting, she doesn't know... I like they're making a hybrid. Surely if they can do that then they can have a bit of a say in what the results are, maybe not make a dyno-god hybrid with huge claws and super intelligence that'll eat your nana for brunch. Just to try it out they could make a little furry one, a herbivore, one that isn't going to kill everything it sees. Would be a dull film though.

Some dude on IMDb is having a complete psychotic meltdown over the absence of feathers.

pfft, Paleontology is just guesswork anyway. They slap some bones together and call it a day. Whose to say whether dinos had feathers or not? No one cares.

Not a bad trailer but nothing to make me say wow that looks great.

My father believed if the world found out that dinosaurs really had feathers, they'd reject them, out of disgust. He was convinced the world wasn't ready. What do you think?

More of"the same"is not a bad thing sometimes and especially for this franchise but that's just my opinion and am trying to stay positive

That trailer was pretty awesome to me. And I'm not really into dinosaurs anymore. Mosasaur was a fantastic surprise, I didn't think that would be used. Trained Raptors also sounds, and looks ferociously badass, I'm in.

So are the velociraptors working with Star Lord at the end there to hunt the D-Rex? I'm I reading that scene right?

Either that or they are all running from the same thing.
