It just looks like a remix of the first 3. Except this time Chris Pratt is a combo of Alan Grant, Muldoon and Roland.

I'll bet good money that

The T. Rex will save the day again.

This looks boring/dumb. Like they took all the bad parts of the the past three and rolled it all up into this one.
Im underwelmed.

I'd say they went with the good parts, but to each their own. :yay:

I think it looks okay as a lark, I'm still not convinced anything too memorable is going down.

I agree with this, though I do feel the Superbowl spot gave it some intensity it was seriously lacking with the first trailer. I feel much better about it today then I did after the first trailer.

I think this movie will end up being good, but nothing special. The trailers appear to have some of the magic the first one had, but more in a nostalgia kind of way that makes you appreciate the first film, not so much this one.

I completely get this. Which is one of the major problems with taking the original idea and trying to play twister with it. This film could spend more time reminding you of the original then doing its own thing.

Not as boring as being overly negative before seeing it

True. There are quite a lot of visual callbacks in the trailers. In an ideal (jurassic) world I'd like a film which has the feel of the original but has it's own identity.

However I think there's enough differentiation in there with the park having been open for a long time. Plus with the marketing people creating an i-Rex to boost attendance. Something amazing and impossible (living dinosaurs) has been normalised to the point people need something more to sustain interest.

However this ends up quality wise, I think they had the right ideas in terms of making another Jurassic Park movie.

I don't know why people are giving this movie a hard time. First it was the CG and now its the plot. I mean seriously, a lot of the people here like John Wick for example but that movie had one of the thinnest plot lines I seen for an action movie. Other movies in the horror and action also have thin plots and so so sequels like Aliens, Terminator, Friday The 13th etc but that doesn't stop fans from being excited about them. I mean seriously!!!

I agree the idea is right for a JP sequel. Far better then the first two sequels in terms of ideas imo. It is now all down to execution.

I have faith in this film and I love the franchise but I hope this is the last sequel. I mean because ideas for it to continue is very limited than some other franchises. It already seems odd the park got opened after the events from the last three films even if this is 20 years after the first movie.

For this movie the concept is fine but it will indeed depend on execution but not sure what can happen next although I guess that also depends on the sequel but even if this one is a huge success, the studio needs to think of ideas besides more movie sequels

Don't most people often disagree with old men named Greg though????

I dont understand why people are so hung up about trained raptors from birth. Heck killer whales are trained and even sometimes theynturn on there handlers, same with animals in zoos with attacks we see on youtube. Wild dangerous intelligent animals can be trained but stll deadly at any moment for humans.

Yep who saids the raptors wont turn on him or go after some one even if he tries to not let them.

it's probably not gonna happen but i would love to see those kids get eaten by a dinosaur. i can already tell they are gonna be annoying
