skip the marriage part, just get her over here! dress is optional

I have to say, the movie has been looking better and better the last month or so.

That's good to hear. I'm trying to stay away from the footage now but it's harder to get more excited when the footage I've already seen hasn't excited me. But I am rooting for it of course. I want this to be great with the hope that the marketing just has really held back on the good and it will be worth it.

Yeah, I haven't been feeling the market for a while now, but the last few weeks have getting a better feeling. Maybe Pratt is just that charming. I want this to be good, and I want this to work.

I have a feeling that the T-Rex is going to steal the show again, and considering the only glimpse we've seen of her is this shot from the trailer, I think they're holding out on the good stuff to keep it a surprise.

Here's a short clip of Pratt with a muzzled raptor (I think it is blue) Seems to be animatronic with some CGI enhancements

I agree, i think the T-REX is going to actually be the Hero of the film. Rex is probably going to destroy that genetically enhanced version.

Looks good to me :woot: also really love the style of the raptors in this film.

Did anyone else notice the small use of The Lost World theme in the score previews?

The Lost World took place on Sorna. Nublar is the original island.

Yes, but I think there are some Jurrasic Park undertones in the soundtrack also.

Anyhow, I am glad they are finally back to Nublar

Are we positive that is the same T-Rex from JP1?

From the interview that confirmed she was in the film I got the impression that the T-Rex from JP1 has been in the old abandoned part of the island all this time roaming and living. I figure the one we've glimpsed in the tv spots and trailers is just one that was bred for the new park, because they were never able to retrieve or capture the original.

Besides, they said the JP1 T- Rex has accumulated scars and war wounds in the years between JP1 & JW. If she has been in her own paddock in JW how would she have gotten so much wear and tear?

Maybe Im wrong, but Id prefer the original Rex not being the one in the JW paddock. I prefer the idea of her roaming free in the old park, and when the I-Rex breaks into the old park they cross paths. And she stomps a mudhole in its ass for encroaching on her turf.

Colin Trevorrow himself confirmed that the T-Rex in the film is the same one from JP1, and I think it's the only T-Rex on the island. The scars are from when the raptor attacked her at the end of the first film, but it's possible it also could have accumulated scars and war wounds from fighting other wild dinosaurs before it was captured and placed in the new park.

Yeah, the Rex in this film is the same one as from the first, and in my opinion, that's awesome.
