Im trying to see what SpideyWho is saying but I don't have an issue with it.

The embargo is an oddity. The suits must not be too confident in it or didn't like it. Which could mean it's fantastic.

Considering the tracking, maybe they just don't want to risk it?

I know that. I said that in my post. Im asking if the one we've seen in the trailer is her? I was under the impression tha the one in the new park isnt her and that she is still living in the old park. Collin made it sound like her reveal happens in the climax. But that shot from the trailer clearly isnt the clmax.

So Im thinking she is in fact in the old park still. They never captured her. They just bred another one. Which is the one we see in the trailer. At some point in the climax the I-Rex and our characters end up in the old park and thats when the T-Rex from JP1 shows up.

Going by the JW viral website, it appears that they did indeed capture the original T-Rex and put her into the new park: http://www.jurassicworld.com/park-map/tyrannosaurus-rex-kingdom/

There is still embargo? what the hell man, just show the reviews already. Godzilla last year ended up in the 70s RT score had the reviews up i think 5 or 7 days before. So if we do some totally ****** math then JP wont be even around that score. The day the reviews are let loose could be irrelevant but they are not a good sign of the quality of the flick

Personally I don't know how the CG dinosaurs from 93 look more convincing than in 2015, and i work with CG every day! But i think a major reason were Stans masterful animatronics that reinforced the CG. My God that man is missed, and with Rick Baker out of the businesses i think its an art that is slowly dying away

For some reason I thought one of the two adult T-Rex's in Lost World was the original one. I thought that because they never really explained what happened to the original park's Dino's after the first movie. I assume they all just got moved or set free into site B. It wasn't until recently I found out those T- Rex were different ones. There is also a rumor that the Rex killed in JP3 was the baby Rex in Lost World.

Got an interesting question I'd like to pose to all of you. Do you see/Would you ever want the Jurassic Park/World franchise ever branching out to include other extinct animal clones like Woolly Mammoths or Saber-Toothed Tigers, Dodos etc? Or is that just jumping the shark a little as it might render the title a little moot and it would tick people off cause it might change it into a whole new franchise or something?

I dont mind but they wouldnt bring any excitement and eat screen time of dinosaurs.

Prehistoric mammals dont have same charm.

In light of the number of confusing replies from other posters, I'm not sure if Broseph's (correct) reply was completely clear in terms of context and sources. So just to clarify, the promotional materials for the film, including the Jurassic World viral marketing website, do state that Rexy from Jurassic Park 1 is the T-Rex on display in the T-Rex Kingdom. Set visit articles also indicate that the old abandoned park is visited by the kinds fleeing the I-Rex in the middle of the film, not the climax. The night time climax of the film appears to occur on the central boardwalk of Jurassic World based on the set visit articles and footage we have seen. (At some point, Pratt and the kids are seeking shelter in a gift shop while the I-Rex smashes through the wall trying to get at them.)

As Broseph mentioned, based on the footage we have of Claire opening a big gate holding a flare in the dark and then a shot of her feet running down a street illuminated by the red light of the flare, it seems pretty apparent that during the night climax attack of the I-Rex on the main boardwalk, Claire goes and lures Rexy out of her paddock in desperation to fight the I-Rex. I believe there was also some references in the set articles to the Spinosaurus skeleton on display on the boardwalk being smashed to pieces. As others have speculated, we have a hunch that Rexy will be doing her signature finishing move...

You'd think a JP movie is critic proof.

Over at the site that shall not be named is a clip, low quality. Can't get a link to post the video here. But it's Pratt giving the raptors the scent of the I-Rex with the tracking chip/piece of its skin that it clawed off. Then releasing them as we've seen and them doing their hunting into the jungle and him following. Very cool.

If this were released 10 years ago, it wouldn't have been, since JP3's reception was pretty negative. But Jurassic World seems to be banking on nostalgia for the first film, which should give it a big boost, especially after the positive reception to Jurassic Park's 3D rerelease two years ago. My prediction is that while this one won't be on par with the first, it will be much better received than The Lost World and Jurassic Park III.

So this scene, what is the consensus? Is the I Rex communicating with the pterasaurs before they go attack the guests at the park? Or is it just roaring at them?

I'm pretty sure it's just roaring at them.

*cough*I'mAGirl*cough* ;)

You're welcome :)

Well my bad, learned something new today haha. Thank you m'lady :woot:

Just roaring at them which scares them into flying out of the aviary. I think people are confusing this shot with the shot of Omar saying "they're communicating" because of the way it's edited. The scene with Omar saying that is at night in the jungle, which appears to be the Raptor scene. So it would seem to me at least he is talking about the raptors.

So we are just going to ignore the ridiculous embargo? Ok. :funny:

The embargo was already discussed briefly. Not much to say about it really who cares haha.

This is a hardcore fan that does not want to face reality right here. You know what the embargo means. :sly:
