Just bought a PSP 3000 + 4Gb memory stick + Fifa 09, all for $100.

What games should i buy?
Is there demos for PSP games?
Is there PSN on the PSP?

Wow thats a pretty damn good deal. To answer your questions...

1. Id recommend:

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Loco Roco 1 and/or 2
Patapon 1 and/or 2
Burnout Legends and/or Dominator
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Twisted Metal: Head On
Rock Band Unplugged
GTA: Liberty City Stories
GTA: Vice City Stories
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero
Crimson Gem Saga
Wipeout Pure
Tekken: Dark Resurrection

Some games to look forward to on the horizon:
Assasins Creed: Bloodlines
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Motorstorm: Arctic Edge
Gran Turismo PSP
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Kindom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
The 3rd Birthday (Parasite Eve 3)
Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny

2. Yes there are demos for PSP games

3. The PSN is accessible from the PSP. You can also access PSP content via the PC and PS3 and use a USB cable to transfer content downloaded from there.

Thanks.

But what content can i access via the PC?
I believe everything thats accessible on the PS3/PSP. Demos, full games, PS1 classics, themes, wallpapers, videos, DLC. You'll want to get Sony Media Go. It's like Sony's version of iTunes and will help you organize and transfer content fairly easily. You can get it here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/products/mediago/default_enu.asp

Lot's of great games listed. I also recommend Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Not waiting for the PSP Go! I see. Ah well, the current model is pretty good.

Anyway, even though there's a large list of games already posted, here's a small list of my favorites for the system:

God of War: Chains of Olympus
Resistance Retribution
Killzone Liberation
Burnout Legends
Daxter
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Twisted Metal Head On
Dragonball Z: Shin Budokai

...it has a lot of great games, this system.

I have the PSP for 1 day and i´m starting to lose my mind with it, so, help me out here.

I can´t update the system.
The version i have is 5.02
When i try to get into the Playstation store, it tells me that there is a system software update required.
So, i go to the Network Update, where it finds a new version, ver 5.51.
I do the download, and at the end of it it tells me to, either update now by pressing X or do it later from the games option.
I press the X, and after restarting, it appears "The game could not be started (80020148).
Then i go to the game option, and the same thing happens.
I already downloaded the update from the PC, and the same thing happens, which means, i can´t update it.
So, what gives?

Killzone Liberation
Metal Gear Portable Ops
God Of War Chains Of Olympus
Resistance Retribution

And...my PSP just died on me last Sunday....48 hours, just fricking 48 hours

Is it so hard to make an update?
Because that´s all it took for it to go kaput
All Saturday it didn´t allowed me to make the update, saying it could not be read.
Then, Sunday, i read that the battery needed to be 100% charged for it to update (which doesn´t make much sense, but ok).
So i did, i charged it and, when it went 100% i tried again.
This time it started to make the update, just to say, when it was at 20%, that i couldn´t read the memory stick.
So, i pressed it harder, it restarted....at 22%, once again it say it couldn´t read the memory stick...i pressed...it restarted....at 30% or so, once again, the same crap, but this time, no matter what i did, it didn´t restarted, until the moment an error message said that i had to call Sony support, and then it was game over, the screen went all black.
The psp still turns on (at least the led does), but the screen it always dark, with no sound.
It still under warranty, so i called Sony and im waiting for them to call me back, but still......

I hope i was just unlucky and not because the PSP hardware is a piece of crap.

I'm sure it's just a faulty system. Frankly you could just go back and get a new one from the store you bought it, you've only had it 2 days.

I've had my psp since it launched, and it still works just fine. (Though the battery drains a little faster then it used to.)

The PSP i had was bought Nov 2008, i bought it 2nd hand.
When i contacted the store, they say they will only give me a new one if Sony doesn´t contact me.
I can live without it for a few weeks, the problem is not that, the problem is that died after 2 days.

Saying it died after 2 days when it's a second hand system is a little misleading. Yes you bought it and it died 2 days later, but it wasn't new to start with so who knows what it's been through.

Yes, you can say that, and you might be right, but i don´t believe it for two reasons.
One, the guy that sold me it works with me, so, i can kick his ass if i find out that it was faulty ;)
If it was on Ebay or something i can agree wiht you
Second, it is still under warranty, so, if there was any problem with, the guy could very well repair/replace it.....

just 2 days? Wow? I bought a used PSP last year and its still running great

Where did you get your PSP from? Your deal for $100 with the game and 4gb stick seemed too good. Maybe the person sold it to you knowing it had issues

If it was bought Nov 2008 then dying 2 days doesn't mean anything....it's been a few months.

I'd recommend doing the replace thing via warranty.
