I think people use the word troll to vicariously nowadays. It became apparent when the mainstream media said it was "trolls" who were thumbing down Captain Marvel, when a number of actual youtube reviewers came out and showed their posts and reviews being deleted off Rotten Tomatoes when they disapproved of the movie.
And that goes both ways, I don't think this guy is a troll, and I think he genuinely believes in his opinion. I'm almost of the mindset based on DM's and other messaging used on this site there are many more people who legitimately come into threads just to downvote anything Zack Snyder does, and then leave.
I'd consider that more troll-ish than anything else I see on this board, so I agree with the initial point, now whether they themselves are trolls I disagree but I do think its something that SHH needs to consider which is when a post is meant to infuriate or to have a genuine discussion.
