Here's a quite interesting trilogy of books. It feels kinda fresh with Egyptian gods after all these adventures connected to greek mythology. Set, Osiris, Isis, Anubis, Bast, Horus and Ra - all these comes to life here.
But I find it strange with all the talk that they seem to need a mortal hosts to become physical, nothing at all like Zeus and his fellow olympians.

Spoilers:
Greek gods and stuff are mentioned in Kane trilogy. After defeating Apophis, there are even hints about further adventures for the characters. It could be the titan war , but most likely the rise of Gaia. I wonder if Riordan will include some of the egyptian-themed stuff in one of his upcoming books in the Heroes of Olympus series.
