i dont even ask for anything at Christmas. for one i'm not big on the gifts and two, i dont really ever remember getting anything i ever asked for from "santa" or my parents. so i guess i stopped telling people what i wanted so i wouldn't be disappointed

my gifts i asked for were alwayas simple little things, cd's, vhs' (haha), etc. i never asked for anything really expensive.

i'm still floored by kids expecting computers and gaming consoles, ipods etc for Christmas, and people feeling like that's what they have to give at Christmas.

This lady I work with just bought 3 ipod touches for her 3 oldest kids, and it just doesn't compute with my head i guess. i've got a poor girl's mentality

my grandmother is the only person who ever gets me anything i ask for and when i get gifts from her, i only ask for something like a book or something i'll use in my life. never anything more than 10-15 bucks
