The thing with snow is that you can't put it in a bag and have it picked up weekly like leaves.

Ah, yes. Sledding. Also known as, 'good activity to break a bone or 2'

I don't recall anyone getting seriously hurt when I was a kid, but have heard tons of horror stories from colleagues.

Two years ago my niece broke her back sledding....after a couple of surgeries and a year and a half of rehab she's pretty good now.

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day

on a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm
if I was in L.A....

I see someone knows her Mamas & Papas :awesome:

God, I'm such an anomaly of a black man.

....or is he Russian?

You're black?

I'm practically obsidian. :o

From his avatar he looks British.....

Depends on whether or not you're watching The Man from UNCLE.

And his style is very reminiscent of Pee Wee Herman.

That's Ducky from NCIS! :cmad:

This is me:

I am currently enjoying the complete score to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and I am not the least bit disappointed. :hrt:

Is it a JW score? I haven't been keeping up.

The first half hour to the movie is already on torrents... how sad. I'll wait for a theater viewing.

Alexandre Desplat - he's done a superb job, really. It's unique, dark, magical, and yet has some of the Williams' flair that was best featured in, say, Prisoner of Azkaban. If you're a fan of scores, it's a total buy. Though rumor has it Williams will return for Part 2, which would be a great treat.

And, yeah, I'm definitely waiting for a theater viewing.

Ahh... Azkaban... the only memorable HP film, IMO.

I'm pretty sure you could build a small nation from the money that these next two movies are going to bring in.

They had a few snipets of it on "Cinemagic" today. Not bad at all. But, I've yet to see a full Harry Potter movie.:csad:

Honestly, I don't know if I'd have liked the movies if I hadn't read all of the books first. The books were so much more entertaining to me.

That may be true... the books enhance the films quite a bit. Like 'Half-Blood Prince' - I loved all the back story on Voldemort. Too bad the vast majority of it was cut from the film. :csad:

I read the Percy Jackson book. It wasn't too bad. I guess I was hoping for something like that in the HP books. Lots of action.

i actively hate harry potter. not for the books themselves, which i'm apathetic towards, but because my younger brothers play the books on tape every ****ing night.
