I read the Percy Jackson book. It wasn't too bad. I guess I was hoping for something like that in the HP books. Lots of action.

i'm thinking about reading that series

Never read the books but the movie was pretty much a carbon copy of The Sorcerers Stone/Philosophers Stone. Instead of a young wizard he is a demi-god. Instead of Voldermort he fights Hades. Ugh.

The first book was really cool. And after I watched the movie, and it was definately cool.

The Lighting Thief was directed by Chris Columbus, who also did the first few Harry Potter movies.

There is a method. Have them work on eachother for a while then you jump in about 5 minutes before closing time. Everyone wins.
