Ken Ham vs Bill Nye (Is creation a viable model of origins?)

Disagreement = trolling. Gotcha.

Whatever makes you feel about proving your obviously superior intellect on the subject.

Anyone who engages and tries to learn about that which they are setting out to disprove is in fact demonstrating a superior intellect. So, yes, you are absolutely right he is proving his superior intellect.

Now you're just throwing a temper tantrum.

I'm sorry you're mad that I'm not going to change my mind or give an in-depth response as to why my theory is better than yours.

I'm not angry at all.

This right here is baiting. You know full well that this is a thread about a debate about evolution and creationism and youbcome in here and make a baseless claim like that with no further discussion. Its very easy to believe youre superior and your theory is right when you yell it to the rafters and refuse to listen to any counters or look at alternatives that you yourself can verify. Once again you are demonstrating willfull ignorance.

No one's asking you to change. We are asking you to engage. If you dont want to then what are you even doing in this thread at this point? You've made it clear you have no intention of discussing anything you are saying. So at this point its about baiting and the sound of yourself typing.

You haven't even gotten to the disagreement part. Arguments have two sides. You have presented nothing more than childish taunts. So, yeah, that IS trolling.

No, this thread was about the debate, which I watched and came to the realization that people on both sides have sh**ty attitudes. I gave my two cents and was attacked / name called for it. No, I will not give you what you want. You can stop responding to me anytime you know.

There are few that I find particularly baffling.

Such quotes represent not just a disagreement but an outright ignorance of what you claim to be disagreeing with.

Why do these people insist that Lucy is the only hominin that we have discovered? That skeleton is not even the only one of its species that we have found, not to mention the other species.

How is a theory not testable? Testing is exactly how theories are constructed.

And the last one...ugh.

Honestly, a lot of these questions are handled in 6th grade science classes.

Bizarre.

I'd assume that it's because no one ever released a "lucy and family' cartoon which seem to be their main source of information.

It's because a lot of these people get their news from CNN, FOX, MSNBC and that's it.

And even from those news sources, as recently as last Otober there was a lot of coverage of more Homo Erectus remains found in Dmanisi. That story was on the cover of the New York Times. Lucy was 40 years ago, not to mention that it was not the first hominin found.

Like I didn't lose enough brain cells already listening to Ham in the debate.

yeah, this one kills me the most... "IF DINOS WALKED WITH HUMANS THEN WHERE ARE THE DINOSAURS?" take that!

well, that and the fact we've never had evidence to even remotely suggest man and dinosaur roamed the earth at the same time.

You have a right to your opinion.

What I want is to know why you refuse to even discuss it? Is your faith so fragile that it cant weather a discussion. Personally, im not here to disprove you. Why people believe what they believe does interest me. You have every right to believe what you believe. You even have a right to come in here and call your idea superior, but this is a discussion forum. If you make a statement such as "Im right. You're wrong." Its going to bring up questions. I just want to know why you refuse to discuss your claim, and your reasons for ignoring verifiable evidence. You dont have to tell me. Im just curious is all. Something obviously set you own this path. Did you witness a miracle? Did god speak to you? Were you in a bad way and you felt a helping hand? Were you raised into it? Etc. These are not mesnt as sarcastiv questions. Im just asking for some reason for your faith. Some context of you. So I can understand you. That is all Im asking for.

If you still refuse to discuss it, then yes, you are right we can stop responding, and im inclined to do just that.

I don't think its even Fox News for these people. I think its purely the creation museum, Ken Ham, and other creationists that feed these folk such awful misinformation.

:funny:

Maybe because you know that after the smallest bit of scrutiny your theory would fall apart?

I actually want to smack those people in the head.

I wouldn't mind tutoring that first girl in evolution. ;)

Reading through the entire article of photos some people really have no idea of what the thermodynamics laws are.
