nobody knows what the plan is after season 3. With season 3 covering the rest of the old characters and a bunch of new, I wouldnt be surprised if that was the last season, but hopefully not, this is the only fighting game where I actually love the new characters

I do hope finishers get added, as it's a bit disappointing they aren't in the game. considering they were part of the original games.

that being said, the emphasis on insane combos has always been the hallmark of the series, so I suppose it would make sense if they left out the finishers in favor of the ultra combos.

oh, and I would like to see more new characters, too.

especially if they add a hot blonde character.

Like was she deformed and ppl died of horror at the sight, or were they so spectacular the opponents mind exploded? I always liked to think it was the latter.

im having SO MUCH fun with this game, cant believe I waited this long to get it!! honestly its so much fun I love everything about it, the retro costumes, the fact that everyone has their own stages (something every fighting game should do) the flawless online experience, the music, the ability to switch to classic announcer, the ridiculously fun combos, I really love this game. Honestly, its so much more fun than MKX, im an MK fanboy and i've loved all MK's but there is something about killer instinct that makes it funner, maybe its the bigger combos, or flashier specials or whatever it is, but I can only play MKX for an hour or two at a time, but I can play KI for a lot longer, I played pretty much all night yesterday online with a friend from work, I can honestly say that KI is in my top favorite fighting games, right up there with UMVSC3, USF4, and MK9, i'd say its even funner than street fighter and mk9, but on par with marvel vs capcom 3

I might just pick up the physical copy of this game for $20 this weekend to get started. then add Season 2 as DLC later on.

t: this game is too good to just get one season XKnight!! if you're gonna go all out on any fighting game, it should be this one, I dont see how you could possibly regret it, the game is amazing!

I agree with you 100% but you shouldnt let the disc thing sway you. Trust me, im the biggest fan of hard copies of games, i've never once in my life bought a digital copy over a hard copy if I had a choice, KI is the first time in my life I went fully digital, but its justifiable in this case I think because digitally you get way more content, so I made an exception and went for it this time and I havent regretted the decision

MK has always been my favorite, and if you asked me a week ago i'd say that no way killer instinct is funner than MK, but now that i've played KI and i've played MKX all I can say is that im having a lot more fun with killer instincts gameplay and when it comes to fighting games thats the most important thing. I was also kind of dissapointed with MKX, the roster wasnt great and the story was awful, I thought MK9 was vastly superior. Overall, MK characters will always be my favorite, but they really need to mix up the gameplay. Killer instinct is just a fresh totally new and fun fighting game experience, and its all about the fun

I need to learn all the new features of modern beat'em ups. They used to be simple back when I played them a lot and all about execution/timing/skill with the basic moves. I'm a fan of all the main ones (SF, Tekken, MK, Soul Calibur, MVC and Injustice & KI are just as fun as the veterans) and was really good at Street Fighter 2 & Tekken 2 back then but need to devote a lot of time to all the new changes on all of them. Till then I still love button bashing and spamming against the AI though. t:

You're going to discover that KI is a gateway drug to the beautiful land of digital downloads. Im not saying KI is what swayed me, but KI was the first digital title i purchased for my X1(when i was still pro-physical), now, a few years later, the sight of physical discs makes me nauseous.

Oh man, really enjoying myself on this at the moment. I didn't realise that I actually don't have season 2. Even though I can play against all the new characters, just discovered that I can't play as them. Not sure what pack to get to upgrade, one of them is £32! I know I'm going to want to get all seasons and having never played the original I'd like to get that thrown in too.

I've only played KI online against a work buddy who is about as good as me, so that was fun, I havent played any randoms but im sure there are some crazy good folks out there like all fighting games. KI having such a good netcode makes online a lot more enjoyable than MKX from what i've seen at least.

I think im still a physical copy kind of guy, I just downloaded KI because it was the easiest way to get all the content, but I have other digital downloads that I havent even downloaded yet (last of us for PS4 and masterchief collection for X1) so I think im still a few years away from fully digital if it ever happens at all, also I only have 500GB consoles and that fills up pretty quick with new updates all the time

if you have season 1 you probably just need to buy season 2 which should be $20, but that doesnt come with the classic costumes or killer instinct 1 or killer instinct 2, im not sure if those are sold seperatley or what the case is, thats why I just went for the full bundle, cant go wrong, the classic costumes are implemented so well in this game with the variations that they are must have in my opinion

I don't usually care about costumes but I want KI 1 & 2. Guess I'll go for the full set.
