Anyone else ever been there? Highlights? Lowlights? Is it inferior to Japan? What makes it inferior?

I would love to go to Korea. I've actually been studying hangul for a few years now.

I've been to Korea. It was by mistake. I actually got stuck in the airport "The Terminal" style for almost a week. Every day the workers of the airport brought me homemade food because I didn't have any money to spend.

It was actually great. I wonder what it would be like outside of the airport.

I'd never go to North Korea and soldiers stationed in South Korea aren't allowed to bring their families because it is considered a hardship tour .
