Kramer's A Racist!!!

A conspiracy is too doubtful. Why would someone target a wash-up who hasn't had a good gig since Seinfeld over some of the various comedians who still prosper today. Further more their knowledge of Richards would have to be vast enough to know that he would cross the line and use racial slurs in response to the heckling. Furthermore, they would have to know he has such a short temper and lack of patience to blow his top like that. I just don't see the conspiracy scenario applying here.

The sad thing is the real Kramer did refer to black people as afro-americans.

It's non-PC to say Afro-American? Heh, you learn something everyday.

Not really...he should have said "African American" or "Black" neither of which are politically incorrect.

However Afro-American is not "politically incorrect". It's just stupid. It sounds pretentious. Like you're trying to be smart but have no idea what words to use, "Afro-American" that sounds technical:whatever: .

He was so afraid to offend them he just pulled some word no one ever uses out of his butt...and sounded even more idiotic. He could have just said "black".

He's not racist, just stupid. Watching the video, it's obvious that he's not comfortable enough or quick enough to be doing unscripted material. He got mad, and like so many other people, he just did the easy attack, which was racial. How many of us have said something stupid when we were upset? When I was 5 I told my step-grandfather to go suck a toad. Had I been older and known worse words I might have said it.

The ONLY reason these guys are suing is because they are taking advantage of the situation. The only money they should possibly get is a ticket refund. Everything else they brought on themselves.
Naw, Dew. This guy is definitely a closet racist, or atleast with some mental issue. I mean, if you're gonna go bat**** on someone, race should be the last thing you'd think of. Richards already sucks for the fact he couldn't handle a heckler. Might as well, not do stand-up AT ALL.

The rebirth of punk is a response to all this pc-ism, and I hope I live another fifty years to see how it all turns out. However, I don't think it's sad that things are becoming more politically correct. This is a product of tolerance, and we should all practice and preach tolerance on a daily basis. Still though...I think when negative aspects of society attach themselves to legitmate causes that preaches tolerance...well it can get a little out of control:hyper:

Someone told me last week that I have to call the janitor a maintenance specialist. I was like...what's the difference, but when I saw the janitor in the hall that same day I didn't speak because I didn't even know his name:o

You should never post ever.

I'll tell you what's horrible, some news station pulled me over to have me watch a clip of this and comment on it. I couldn't tell what was going on with the bleeps and the bad sound. I thought he was just being profane and it wasn't directed towards anyone, I couldn't tell that he was actually talking directly to someone. So they had me on tv being the one guy saying I thought it wasn't offensive at all.

Sounds like a bad episode of Punk'd...only better because it lacks Ashton Kutcher.

There were a multitude of possible reactions that could have happened.

1. Richards could have walked out.
2. He could have thrown a chair or his water.
3. He could have simply told the audience to F-off.
4. He could have even attacked his hecklers.

He just happened to throw out the N-word and used racial epitaphs.

Which is why I don't this is a conspiracy.

Pretty much.

This is really sad because Richards always seemed like a great guy before I saw this. It really doesn't seem like like he was joking. It seems like he vented some deep rooted prejudicial views. I hope I'm wrong and he really doesn't feel this way about Afro-Americans. Even so, he should be smarter in his choice of words when he gets emotional.

I'm just wondering, you see in the video what happened after Richards was heckled, but what did the hecklers say to Richards to get him all riled up?
