Two men who say they were insulted by actor-comedian Michael Richards during his racist rant at a comedy club want a personal apology and maybe some money, one of the men and their lawyer said Friday.

I love how money always seems to pop up in these situations.

I don't see why giving them money should ever even have to come into it. He apologised. The guys he insulted should let it go. Whats the sense in dragging it out through the courts?

I always liked Sienfeld myself, well until the last episode, that let me down big lol. I think it'll just be hard for me to look at Kramer if I watch and rerun and not think about what happened. On the other hand Sienfeld's still funny, maybe I can try to mentally block some of that out.

BTW I rewatched that and I didn't catch that the first time. I thought the pitchfork comment was part of his act at first for whatever reason and then got heckled, watching it again was that the starting of him ragging on the heckler? If so then I take back saying that while he was wrong the heckler should have not made that big of a scene, and instead say he was farther out of line than I origionally thought (Michael Richards that is). I still wish I could have seen that entire show tho to know why the heckler started harassing him, and which part stopped being his act and which part was him laying into the heckler.

Either way I have a feeling his careers dead no matter what, very rarely do celebrities pull out of this type of stuff to be as big as they were before.

Like I said, money grab. These two guys went on the news and all these talk shows and said things like "He never wouldve apologized if the video didnt get out." Really? Ok. Let me put my spin on it. "You never would be looking to sue him for money if the video didnt get out."

Look I don't mean to be a dick here, but look at it this way.

1. The Camera only turned on just before Richards Flipped out.

2. The guys were heckling him.

Maybe they knew he was going to fly off the handle, & wanted to get it on camera. They just weren't anticipating him going that far. I don't like racisim, but this smells of a set up.

He's not racist, just stupid. Watching the video, it's obvious that he's not comfortable enough or quick enough to be doing unscripted material. He got mad, and like so many other people, he just did the easy attack, which was racial. How many of us have said something stupid when we were upset? When I was 5 I told my step-grandfather to go suck a toad. Had I been older and known worse words I might have said it.

The ONLY reason these guys are suing is because they are taking advantage of the situation. The only money they should possibly get is a ticket refund. Everything else they brought on themselves.
