How long do Kryptonian's live? Do we know? Is it affected by a yellow sun differently versus a red sun?

On Krypton I believe it was several hundred years, on earth I would imagine around 500 or so years. I recall once or so Superman was suppose to be immortal but I think he just ages more slowly then us humans so when Batman hits his 60 age mark Sups would be in the 30's

Morrison's ending to Superman has Superman become Rao himself ultimately and Superman receives a happy ending where he reunites with Lois Lane and his parents on New Krypton after 10 thousand years inside the Sun (All Star Superman ending).

D'oh! I'm sorry. ;-----------; Well to be clear this is what we learn in DC One Million which was written like 13 years ago.

Agreed even if you look at Kingdom Come Superman he lives well into the years of the Legion. If you also want to go at it another way he spent 1000 years with Wonder Woman at one point fight a war and didn't age a day.

I think Kryptonians are not immortal, but age slower. In The Dark Knight Returns, Bruce is around his 60's or so and Clark didn't age that much. But, Kal-L did show some signs of aging (his sideburns, if I remember correctly).

Which is why, due to all of the above posts, I don't think there is any clear definitive lifespan. It's vague at best, KC has him aging at least 2 times, possibly closer to 5 and even as high as 10 times slower depending on your interpretation. One Million puts him at an almost immortal time line if not being able to live for tens of thousands of years. TDKR puts him again at the very least aging twice as slow and most likely more, Bruce mentions that Clark colors his hair grey to fool people.

This also all seems to be based on him living under a yellow sun. But thanks for the info guys.

He colors his hair gray? Wow, I can't remember that. Hahaha. Anyways, your welcome. :)

For some reason that depressed the hell out of me when I read that issue. I can't explain why , but it did.

That's a bit odd...but which part? The part where he basically said...FU world...I'm just gonna go all recluse?

Basically the whole thing depressed me. Especially the part where they showed Batman's funeral. Or that part where Supes and his family are hovering over the water because the whole Earth flooded. Outliving everything and everyone you ever loved and who loved you back is pretty depressing honestly.
