I have an odd problem. I used to have a 3 year old Dell laptop that within the last few months whenever I would open the lid the computer wouldn't be completely frozen but I would not be able to open or close any programs without doing control alt delete. The mouse could still move, but nothing else would. Just from having the task manager open everything would unfreeze. I wouldn't even have to close anything, just opening the manager would fix it.
I figured it was due to it being an old computer, but now I got a new Dell of a different model which I have only had for one day and it is doing the exact same thing; only resolved by opening the task manager. The only program that I've installed was firefox and Itunes, so I really have no idea what could be causing the problem.
Any suggestions ? Or somewhere to turn to for a solution ?
