InCali I will respond to you and ignore the other nonsense...

I know where I live.

I know it's over for us now. We had the sweep, and one lucky swing ruined our hope... our life essence.

I know where I live... and I know when to die.

It's ok, you can take this opportunity to become a hockey fan. It's the Seattle Kraken's first season. They're named for you.

You will of course teach me the ways of the hockey... wont you?

@KRYPTON INC. ... I just realized you are inferior in all things. Goodbye.

If I linked it, I would be banned six times over, so just search "Best of Shoresy Vol 1." on YouTube. It should be the first result. Then you will be ready.

It took 23 days, but I've finally finished all 32 movies.

Congratulations, Flick. I'm sure you're very proud.

I would say there wasn't a genuinely bad movie in the list, and I had a good time with all of them. Fargo is my standout favourite, though Princess Bride, Unforgiven and Beetlejuice are right up there. Here are my musings on the last 8 movies I watched:

Unforgiven: Little Bill probably should have given that speech about cool heads beating quick draws to his men at some point, but he was too busy building that house.

The Lost Boys: Dracula was on the previous list, which I liked a lot, but I gotta say that I prefer the young and sexy vampires with the *****in' soundtrack.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves: Alan Rickman behaving like a madman with the orchestral version of a Bryan Adams song as a backdrop is everything I could ask for in a movie.

After Hours: I'm just going to assume that New York is like this all the time, and that's the reason for why they invented the MetroCard.

Bull Durham: Crash accuses Annie of not having a job while he's out here on a Single-A contract probably making $53 a week and spending it all on the **** he breaks in bars.

Beetlejuice: It's like if Bugs Bunny was created by an insane person who's going through a goth phase (all of which is my jam).

Leon: The Professional: Wikipedia says that Gary Oldman improvised many of his lines, which makes me terribly uneasy, since he plays the drug-addled psychopath a little too well.

Something Wild: Never trust a bob cut.

I'm finally free. Except now I have to catch up on all the shows I fell behind on while watching these, and then of course Dune just came out, and oh my God it never ends.

As movies go, your 2 finalists are probably the 2 best of the lot and overall, I think @flickchick85 had the strongest lineup. No surprise there.

As far as being free goes, now you just have to listen to people tell you what they left off their list (The World According to Garp, Being There, etc.).

Actually, I think you're kind of a champ for getting through all of these. Congrats......but I don't get your fascination with White Men Can't Jump

I get to go see Dune on Tuesday. I hope it's good. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to those books so I think I may be hard to please (for once).

I liked the Lynch film so have some caution myself. On the other hand making two films instead of one might allow for more good detail so it could be better. Who knows? :)

I loved so many of Lynch's movies, but THAT one.......it started raining.......RAINING at the end of the movie. :argh:

Dude's done some weird S*** though and I appreciate that. Eraserhead, Wild at Heart, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet.....whew.....

Is there a reason I cannot find the GIF of this?

I believe he asked for suggestions for movies that were made starting in 1984.....Garp was 1982 and Being there was 1979.
