I feel sorry for you, bc it really doesnt get any better I hated it too btu finished it through bc I wanted to see how the story ended up. First FF game I played that I actually hated. Not dislike, but actual hate. What chapter are you on?

Chapter 11. I just finished going through the Tower with all the giant stone statues. I thought the game would be getting better, because everyone was saying "Oh, wait till you reach chapter 11, then the world opens up." Yeah, it opened up, but exploring it is a chore. Because there's nothing but open wilderness, no towns or anything, just floating statues scattered around that give you boring hunt missions.
