Mass Effect. Been playing through it again for the past couple of weeks. On the way to (if I have the option to choose) the "Bring Down the Sky" asteroid and then Ilos. Looking forward to the next playthrough and rebuilding my characters up to lvl 60 already.

Not worth getting then? I've seen the bad reviews, but a few of them just gave me the vibe it was rated down for not being MW2 enough. If anyone has played AvP 2 for PC how does it stack up? I used to love that game, especially what's called infestation in the new game.

Just played through the whole game again. it's so great. Where's part 4 damn it?!

Not worth getting then? I've seen the bad reviews, but a few of them just gave me the vibe it was rated down for not being MW2 enough. If anyone has played AvP 2 for PC how does it stack up? I used to love that game, especially what's called infestation in the new game.

I haven't played the MP modes, because I only rented it to go through the Campaigns. It's safe to say, if it wasn't for the included Multiplayer, the game wouldn't be worth to get at all. The Campaigns, except for the Marine, are a joke. Void of any strong narrative or plot you might care about. You don't see the people you're effecting around you as an Alien or Predator. You're pretty much playing from the creature's POV. Which means, go here, go there, kill stuff.

And it's so freaking short. Both, the Alien and Predator campaigns, last around 3-4 hours. The Marine campaign might be longer.

It just doesn't compare to AvP2's Singleplayer experience.

Gotcha, thanks. Disappointing. I was thinking of buying it this weekend since the multiplayer would give replay value, and renting Heavy Rain (since it sounds like replayability might be low, tho it sounds like playing thru it once is mandatory due to all the praise it's getting...and I liked the demo alot as well). However I'm leaning the other way with AvP getting low scores and bad word of mouth.
