First, the quick time events aren't as often as the current gen ones...and not as fast, too. I hated so much the QTE in this game. Unnecessary at many times and badly done.
Another thing I remember is that the symbiote costume really made a difference in the PS2 version. It made you a lot stronger. I could feel almost invincible to the point of toying with the enemies. You could take it out whenever you wanted and, the more you used, the harder it would be to rip it off. Not to mention that it also affected the city. The sky got a polluted tone, there was trash in the streets and trees without leaves. I remember people in the streets bashing Spidey, too.
The only difference I saw in the PC version was Spidey's attitude.
The good thing about the PC version was the graphics, a better swing system and more varied combos, but even so, the PS2 version was way more fun. Still not a good game, but fun.
