If they did it right and stayed true to Alan Moore's comics... then I would say "yes". The movie was O.K., but I was a little dissapointed because I was hoping for a closer adaptation (which doesn't happen very often in Holldywood).

Anyway... if done right, I would say yes. It would probably work better on a cable network or on like HBO or Showtime, not regular networks.

I think it would be a good mini-series not necessarily an on going series. Though I suppose it could be done. It would definitely have to be done better than the butcher job they did for the movies.

I think it could be pretty good. Kind of like 24 with literary characters. However some people might not know who these characters are if they've never read the books.

Although I will admit that the sale of the books these characters are in went UP after the movie came out, so you never know.

Done right, yes. Less cartoony than the movie, but not quite as dark as the comic (i.e. no
    Hyde death-raping Griffin
    ).

It would be a good show. They would probaly put it on HBO since the movie already is there. The movie was ok I guess, just too much time on that sub.

Have to agree with the HBO style show and not regular cable tv. Like I said on the mercy forum superman is the only hero that seems anyone wants to deal with, him or batman, but at the moment sups wins the only show on cable tv that anyone wants too see, or so they think. People need to ask what we want, and not decide what is best for us or what we need!

The movie was alright, it was like Van Helsing (infact they even made reference to him) the movie felt like it was missing some thing. I guess the story never really interested me but I think it would have been best suited to a series format.

Psh, Captain Nemo could hold a show by himself. Anybody that can start a fight with a massive backhand slmack is cool in my book.

They mentioned Van Helsing as in the real Van Helsing. Professor Abraham Van Helsing, from the Dracula novel.

I would absolutely not like to see this done as a t.v. show. The book was great enough.

I wouldn't mind to see a show based on the comic. But only if its based on the comic, and is actually faithful to it. So no vampire-Mina crap or Quartermain-is-not-a-junkie crap.
