And no Virtua Fighter until May. Then again, I can't afford a PS3, and won't be able to play it anyway.

It seems Gamestop is at least getting ready for this stuff. Might have to call soon. If they are preparing for the PS3 then they have to be doing the same for the Wii

It's too bad, that launch isn't so great.
At least it's better than the PS2 launch was.

It's ok though, by the time I can afford to buy a PS3, I'll have a nice pick of games to go off of.

According to the list, Assassin's Creed doesn't come out until March 2007.

Cod3 and The Darkness will be out on X360 at the same time (The Darkness is not a launch day title either). Assassins creed is not a launch title, nor is Heavenly Sword.

All of you guys told me that its considered a launch title when its about 4 months after the console ships, in the heavenly sword thread I told everyone that its not a launch game because it ships in December ocording to PSM and then everyone's like yeah I consider that a launch title even though its about a month after Sony released the PS3.

that's actually a pretty good launch. even if you only count the games being released up until december. i'd say it's at least on par with the 360's, possibly better depending on how some of those games turn out.

Thats launch period. The games on day one are the launch games. Those are the ones that people care about. Launch period games also have a very nasty habit of slipping by a few months too
