I'll be honest and say that originally I wasn't sure if I'd like Shadow King as the main villain, but it seems like I really underestimated Hawley. His forms as 'Devil with the Yellow Eyes' and 'The World's Angriest Boy' are both legit scary. Brings some horror-esque aspects to the series. I also really like how Shadow King 'makes him forget'. Him also being the dog, King, was a really smart move imho. It shows that he was really always there. And then of course we have Aubrey Plaza who I have already gushed so much about that I should just stop right there.

There was an interesting observation that someone made how the Shadow King seems to wear the tattered remains of the World's Angriest Boy. I don't know if it's more of a hint that they're all one in the same, but I think it was an interesting observation.

Can't wait for the next ep. Loving the Shadow King story too. I've always wanted to see the Shadow King but never though a film could do it justice because there isn't enough time to develop. So thankfully they saved it for Legion.

So I have a question. Does anyone think the Shadow King can tie in with New Mutants? With the rumors that Prof X and Storm are in it and there's that New Mutants story in which Shadow King possessed Karma. Could that be how the Shadow King first meets Charles?

I think Hawley mentioned awhile back that they used it at the TCA, but I thought it was in the pilot they showed and we never saw it, so I thought we were never gonna see it, but there it is!

Cary seems to indicate that he knows of Amahl Farouk prior to David. Perhaps the inhabitants of Summerland also have some knowledge of the exploits of X-Men? Or have encountered the Shadow King in the past?

The more we know, the more questions come up. So amazing how this show is constructed. Also, Jermaine Clement is hilarious.
