Interesting, but that not exactly true. Storm was still increasing her lightning attack before the tower exploded. Also Marvel's offical word is that Cyke can not repeat this feat again.

Cyclops has always been my favorite X-Man. Does anybody have captures of that X-Men comic when he leads the Acolytes out of the Desert? This was late 90s stuff...Kubert was the artist.

I've heard Cyclops' blasts can cut through mountain ranges. I know for a fact, he's used it to completely obliterate Apocalypse.

What have been Cyclops' greatest accomplishments?

I think we need to show Marvel that Scott actually deserves some nice treatment in the future - THEY SHALL RESPECT HIS AUTHORITAAAH!

You know, I have to say that over the past year or two, Scott has really grown on me and has become one of my favorite X-Men. When I was growing up, Wolverine and Gambit and Bishop were the real badasses to my friends and I. I never much cared for Scott. Yeah, he was always the leader, but he was such a wimp.

These days, Scott doesn't **** from anyone. He's proven himself to not just be the leader of the X-Men, but to be the only person that deserves to be. And it's good to see him free of Emma's influence, too. I hated that period.

I just plain hate Emma Frost.
I hate all telepaths for that matter. Emma Frost is just the worst of them.

It sounds like you're talkin about the Cyke of the 90's... who was more or less Wolverine's ***** to make the runt more popular. Before that, he was treated like a living legend in some stories... esp. as new X-Men would come in.
