This is a no contest. Dr. Doom and Green Goblin take this by a long shot. Lex Luthor doesn't even have anything against Dr. Doom or Goblin. I don't know about Joker. Sure, all four all smart, but Doom and Gobby are smarter.

My Vote - Dr. Doom and Goblin

Luthor and Joker, because Doom is a terrible character who deserves to lose.

^shock value

Come on! You just hate the fact that Dr. Doom is arguably the greatest villain in comics.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

What shock value?

See how you said arguably? I'm the guy who would be arguing against him being the greatest villain in comics. Duh.

Come on Leaguer. Are that much of a dullard? Read it again.

The shock value comes from you saying that Doom is a horrible character.

As for the arguably, by my stating that I add a level of credibility to my statement. Of course some may not think that he's the best villain, but you have to include him in the top echelon of characters.

Simply put, Dr. Doom and The Joker are the two greatest villains in comicdom. And for you to say he is a horrible character is absurd. Even hardcore Batfans would back me up here.

Whoooo, unwise, Mr. Man. Maybe you'd like to restate yourself without sounding like a 'tard?

Come on Franklin. Are you that much of a dullard? Read it again.

[Denzel] Explain it to me... like I'm a five year old.[/Denzel]

All Hail Dullards!!!

You said I have to include him in the top echelon of characters.

You couldn't have said anything stupider.

Well I guess we're arguing somantics here, because I have no idea what you're talking about.

ech·e·lon
1. A formation of troops in which each unit is positioned successively to the left or right of the rear unit to form an oblique or steplike line.
2. A flight formation or arrangement of craft in this manner.
3. A similar formation of groups, units, or individuals.
2. A subdivision of a military or naval force: a command echelon.
3. A level of responsibility or authority in a hierarchy; a rank: a job in the company's lower echelon.

What am I missing?

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Your opinion is irrelevent. That's why I said "arguably". Whether I like the Joker or not isn't the topic of argument. Because of common knowledge I must include him into the upper echelon of villains. And for the record I like The Joker.

Let's say I hate Gone With The Wind. My opinion doesn't matter because it is one of the all time greatest films. Whether I like it or not. By that reasoning...

Dr. Doom is one of the greatest villains ever. Despite your lame ass opinion.

Who sounds stupid now?

:doom: :doom: :doom:

You. I'm sorry my opinion makes you cry, but not sorry enough that I'm not enjoying it.

Uh... Gone With the Wind's being one of the all-time greatest films is still subjective. You can argue that people who don't like it don't appreciate it because they're dumb or whatever, but the fact of the matter is that there isn't any grand, master list of the all-time greatest anything that "officially" declares the items on it the all-time greatest of that thing for all people, whether they like it or not.

Frankie goes to Hollywood hasn't quite gotten the grasp of personal taste, I don't think.

Also, Doom blows.

So you are saying Gone With The Wind isn't one of the greatest films of all time? There is such a thing as public opinion. I don't always like it, but I must recognize it. And that is where the "Grand List" comes from.

I do get it. You haven't gotten the grasp that your taste is not the defining opinion of our society. There is an average viewpoint in this world.

You're just a sophist and a contrarian. I'm done with you.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Why do you even care about the average viewpoint of society? Stop conforming, you conformist.

:doom: :doom: :doom:
Uh, no. That's where a general consensus of opinions comes from. You're the one who's adding weight to it. Some people don't see overwhelming numbers in favor of something and think, "Oh, all these other people like it... I guess it must be good." It doesn't make their opinion of what's good and bad somehow inferior to the majority's.

And it's estimated 95% of the world's population is constructed of semi-informed idiots.

I wouldn't really place my faith in that.
