This reeks of propaganda.
heh, I guess so...Critics typically and right now have been against every movie involving politics.
Same thing in all reviews "too political" and "politics"- little to no note on the film itself which was made to be a politics film.
oh, BTW, they showed the trailer for Valkyrie in front of this![]()
Rendition, The Kingdom and even The Brave One all suffered the same fate.

Kinda makes me wonder how they will respond to Charlie Wilson.

The same most likely, the statement has been made loud and clear this year "Do not stand on either side of the political line", b/c if you do the reviewer won't review the movie, he'll simply judge it on where he stands politically in relation to the film. It's notable that the UK reviews for Lions for Lambs are very strong.
just got back. liked it alot. especially the college scenes, reminds me of the conversations I have with my professors. Also, it was really a great question and advice- are you going to sit back and do nothing or are you going to stand up, grab the bull by the horns and control your own life and use the potential you've been given. Great advice for any college student and the way he delivered that message was phenomenal and impactful.
So, yeah, I know it was a politics movie- but that's actually what I personally got out of it. Knowing what kind of student and man I want to work to be. The one who grabs life by the horns.![]()
