Little tidbit on Wolverine

Slight correction on AUSTRALIA - he's not producing it (unless you meant producing in general - he does have his own production company now which is doing WOLVERINE and his upcoming THE TOURIST besides the TV show VIVA LAUGHLIN which has a "sneak peak" on Oct. 18 and starts on Sunday Oct. 21 on CBS). And you haven't seen SWORDFISH? Let me entice you (besides the head in the lap scene LOL):

Yes they are! Fans of his Broadway show The Boy from Oz ("Ozalots") love that yellow towel scene so much, some brought a yellow towel to the stage door and he modeled it!

^ It's worth a rental. It's not bad. Travolta is goofy as usual but it works in this film.

I hated it, but the golf scene was fun. :oldrazz: :cwink:

I don't care how many Wolverine movies they do as long they're good and Hugh still gets to come back and do another Broadway show SOON. Is that being bossy of me? :oldrazz:

You can be bossy, I'll allow it ;) ROFL.

I have not heard him sing yet. I'm thinking I should go rent the Oklahoma! movie that he did. Was that any good? I like the old Origional Oklahoma! whenever they made that movie.... forever ago!

He was great in Oklahoma. Definitely check out the dvd. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't see it when I was in London, but I did see him on Broadway 5 times in The Boy From Oz. He was amazing in that.

Oklahoma! was fabulous! Definitely rent it. Here's Hugh singing the opening at a Royal Command Performance I think.

Plus there are plenty of clips on YouTube of Hugh singing, including the Tony Awards. Just put his name in the search engine. Here's a bunch:

I love when he does "Surrey with the Fringe on Top" and "Poor Jud is Dead". That duet is sooooooooo good, and is acted so well between the two. *big grin*

For those that saw "Van Helsing" Jud was played by the same actor that played Frankenstein in VH. His duet with Hugh on "Poor Jud is Dead" was fabulous. And I love "Surrey.." also!

He also playing Frankenstein again (well, Frankenstein's monster) in the new musical version of Young Frankenstein on Broadway.

I saw Oklahoma on PBS a couple years ago and I've been trying to hunt it down again ever since.

And Young Frankenstein was playing near me in Seattle before it went to Broadway but I didn't get to go. Grr! :cmad:

I don't have tickets to Young Frankenstein in NY because the ticket prices are ridiculous. I can stay home and watch the movie, it's probably better anyway.

Oklahoma is out on DVD, I think it's pretty easy to find!
