It's definitely not company-wide, as our store has not received anything like this, so it must be something that particular store thought would be a good idea, so they typed one up real fast.

Sad thing is, there are lots of idiots out there that'll fall for it, too.

lol I don't work in that department, unfortunately. I'm all about the CD/DVD/Video Games.

Though I DID buy a real nice 44" Panasonic HDTV (1080i) in March for about $1500. Completely love it.

I'll love it even more once I get an HD-DVD player early next year whenever Gen2 comes out

Oh I don't think it was necessarily manip'ed. I mean, sure it COULD have been, but it's very possible to have been posted in that store.

Like I've mentioned a bit above, it's not a company-wide promo or anything at all. But we do have paper with the CC header like that page does, where we can type up our own personalized in-store signs like the one above. It COULD have been a manip, but most likely it's that particular store thinking they can get away with getting Mr. Average Joe to fall for it.

I have this tv and it kicks ass. Way better than plasma or lcd in picture and price.
