I think Silence is the horror film I've rewatched the most. But this Longlegs movie, the way it's being hyped up and marketed really has my curiosity. Hope it delivers.

It definitely wasn't your typical horror movie, but it sure grabbed me by the b***s. I didn't let me son watch it until he was 16 because I thought it was too disturbing. Little did I know at the time, that after I told him that I didn't want him watching it just yet......wait for it......he snuck it out of the cabinet and watched it while I was away.

Hopkins was dating Martha Stewart at that time, but after the flick released she broke it off, as she could not separate Hannibal character from Hopkins in her mind. It creeped her out. Lawd.

I'm gonna get crucified for this but the only Mann film that's really connected with me to any extent is Thief. From the rest I've seen (Heat and Manhunter), I honest to God can't really deal with the way he directs his actors, it feels like everyone's always mugging and trying to act "cool".

Nah the equivalent of that is those ads on tv where they show a free early screening audience in nightvision losing their minds over a doll that moved slightly to the left.
