Avengers trilogy will end on 2018, so its not like Fox needs to do more x-men main movies until 2023 or something.

Another huge X-Men movie on 2017 or 2018 is a great moment to close main series.

None of us expected or expect four more movies, you know? they have Wolverine 3 and XForce too in the cards, so the franchise will end with plenty of movies for all type of fans.

So no real problem with just one more movie for OT.

Except I have a problem with ****** screentime for Rogue

But as long as Fox makes one last X-Men movie with the OT cast, with Cyclops and Gambit, Rogue will probably get the best Rogue stuff of the whole franchise.

What do we know about the third installment of Fox’s new X-Men trilogy at this point? Well, quite a lot, actually, but one question remained: Will Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer return to direct? Now, Vulture purports to have the answer, and it’s yes.
Vulture also goes on to report that they believe the film will focus solely on the Michael Fassbender-James McAvoy led younger cast introduced in X-Men: First Class, rather than the mix of First Class and original X-Men trilogy alums that will be featured in Days of Future Past.
Then again, they also reiterate our earlier reporting that the film will be a direct sequel “set up in Days of Future Past’s closing moments,” which does not preclude some of the original X-Men cast from showing up, at least in the very beginning, to wrap things up. Brendon is pretty confident Singer and Fox are definitely trying to lock in as many cast members from both timelines as possible, though the amount of their screentime is not known.

Until Singer, Kimberg or Fox confirms the end of OT cast, we can enjoy the feeling of a possible sequel.

We dont need to go back to 2006 thinking it was the end. Now they are back, so.... lets have fun with a positive thinking.

Not if X-Men:APocalypse only uses FC cast.

You know the OT cast will be back once another FC film or the spin-offs don't live up to FOX's expectations.

With so many MCU movies, a potential Justice League movie in the future and more Spidey films. Do you think Fox really wants to give their most tested cast another 8 year break? They might as well reboot the series.

Let's get down to serious business. WILL Apocalypse have a giant "A" on his suit?

I don't think I can see this movie if he doesn't.

He doesn't need to have a giant A because it would look too costumey and it would look silly.

His costume in X-Men Legends II would look great in live-action.

They certainly care about age, or are at least taking it into consideration, if they truly are trying to relaunch the franchise to compete against Marvel in the long run.

Doing another movie with a relatively older cast does the opposite of that.

And like as if the FC cast being "younger" didn't stop it to be the lowest X-Men film at the time it was released.

People don't care about age that much unless all of them look like they are in their 90s.

I don't think 1 more film after DOFP for the OT cast would be enough. They would be cramming a lot of things for Rogue/Gambit/Cyclops for them to be similar to their comics counterpart.
