Looks like the days of bootlegging off the Internet are numbered...

As long as you want to bring Pearl Harbor up, remember those camps all those innocent Japanese living in America were sent to duing WW2? Without any reason or legal way of defending themselves.

One, you can stop being such a *****! TWO, more than a BILLION files are shared per month via P2P, that number doubles, at least, when bit torrent is considered.

That's why Net neutrality is a MUST...not just for file-sharing, which is the least of my concerns on neutrality, but if they start controlling one aspect we've lost. If we in America pass an Neutrality bill then we won't have to worry about this corporate crap.

So sign the petition!

I agree with you. However, if anyone thinks they're going to be able to actually BAN anyone from the internet, they are delusional. People want on, they'll get on.

Use a secure server in canada.... Your ISP doesn't matter then.

:)

If your ISP is tracking your bandwidth usage it will. ;)

Depends if you constantly exceed bandwidth without downloading. People can suspect if they are tracking bandwidth. If the server is elite and secure they cannot prove. I am actually posting using a server in Hong Kong today. Why? Because I am that damn good!

Most definitely! Hell, I have 3-4 free connections from my wi-fi. I don't use them, but there are alternatives.

That sucks... I mean I guess its only a matter of time before its global... get those music, video, etc downloads in as much as you can before it hits permanent shutdown...

Piracy will never stop.

They tried killing Napster then other P2Ps popped up. They threatened to sue people illegally downloading files but it didn't stop. They used countless scare tactics yet my iTunes is full of 16 days worth of music I haven't paid for. They try to encrypt sh-t but there's always a way around it. It will never stop. Pirates are too cunning.

I disagree with this term "piracy"...that's the oppressor's description to, in the name of oppression and tranquility, demonize the cause of freedom. In contrast, I refer this process, this "piracy", by it's revolutionary epithet, "sharing".

Well its only a matter of time before governments take over everything... I mean with all the problems coming up in this century and beyond... over population... we probably are living in the golden age as it is.

Piracy by any other name is still piracy.

Or you could call it "stealing" . . . since, you know, that's what it is.

i'm just amazed that you guys have never seen pop up pirate

Bumptacular.

Piracy? Call it what you want. I will continue.

I love how you Big Men are so "defiant" about ripping people off.
It's just like scum**** looters during a riot.
If everybody goes and smashes the windows of the local stores and starts stealing TV's, well, there's no way the cops can arrest the whole city, right? lol.

You're just taking advantage of the social acceptability of your crime and the fact that most people are evil sociopaths at their core, so you hide in the vast numbers of your internet anonymity.
None of you would dare to steal actual physical things, where the people who depend on the income can actually see you, because you're slimy cowards.

Man for someone who hates religion so much, you sure do like to preach.

:lmao: sure, any program writer could see the flaws in this, such as sharing a custom made movie, unless all DVDs and CDs use a common encryption which is recognizable by the ISP in which case people could just decrypt it themselves. Japan, you make me laugh! The Pirates of the Caribbean may be gone, but we are the Pirates of the Internet!
