Look's like us Raimi fan's are getting the last laugh

I'm not going to lie, I love this if it is true.

I'm a die-hard fan of the Raimi series, and a fan of the current series.

However, if you ask me about my opinion of the current series, I'll say: "I like it but..."

There was never a "but..." for the OT.

If Raimi comes back...I will have faith in a Spidey film again.

Did Raimi EVER have complete control on the 3 films he made? Seems like that's a bit of conjecture that would need to be cleared up before moving forward with whether this is good or bad and whether he should have complete control or not. Keep in mind also that this is the same Sam Raimi who publically said he wasn't completely satisfied with any of his Spidey films back in a 2008 interview.

I never heard him say that he was not completely satisfied with any of his sm movies but even if he did no movie is perfect and there are always things that could have maybe made a movie better no matter how good the movie is. While with the complete control I am sure that people gave him advice or ideas of ways to do things or things they think would be good to have in the movie but at the end of the day he got to decied if he wanted to do something a certain way or not on sm 1 and 2. Then with sm 3 I think they where more no you have to do this or that. What I don't get with sony is with how sm 1 and 2 went both in box office and reception why would you not trust him for sm 3 and fell like you need to interfear? Its not like he didn't prove him self or something.

Maybe more leaked emails can shed some light.

Well with the first movie they stepped in and vetoed Ted Rami playing Curt Conners. Also I think Avi Arad interjected himself more on the third one than the first two. Mainly demanding Venom getting put in.

Raimi never said he was not in control of the creative vision of the first two movies. I've never heard him voice any complaints about any direction they went. So he was either in control, or happy with the direction they went.
